Party Wall Advice
The Party Wall etc. Act 1996 came in to force on the 1st July 1997 and applies throughout England and Wales. It provides a framework for preventing and resolving disputes between neighbours in relation to proposed works to party walls / party structures, boundary walls and excavations close to neighbouring structures. The Act requires the service of notice, together with the details of the intended works, and provides for the appointment of a surveyor to resolve disputes. |  |
